The Gadget Refuge was launched in 2018 by Gavin & Tracie Garnett with the intention of creating a successful local business with a model suitable for growth through franchising. Since launch we have successfully developed a very strong reputation within our local area and are now ready to launch our franchise network.

Co-Founder Gavin tells their story: “We literally started from the Kitchen table in our house which caused some disagreements until we created a workspace outside of the house! Initially we spread the word through friends and family, particularly friends of our two then teenage kids whilst we gained some experience and learned where were the best places to buy spare parts from.

“From these early stages until we launched on Social Media in December 2018 it was a steady growth month on month, but then from the day Tracie created the Facebook page and we began the professional marketing we were absolutely inundated with work – And we still are!!
